Though the addition of DADUs (detached accessory dwelling units) is a fast-growing trend in cities with high housing costs, the vast majority of them are constructed in a simple box shape. So when architect Prentis Hale was approached by a creative couple looking for a structure with a custom form, the SHED principal was intrigued by the challenge.
